According to the Law of the Republic of Armenia "On Guaranteeing Compensation of Bank Deposits of Individuals", the Fund performs the following functions: 

  
   collects guarantee contribution charges,

   conduct analyses of the Fund assets, deposits and depositors, as well as other relevant analyses,

   files claims to the Central Bank for imposing sanctions and request the central bank to conduct inspections to verify the accurancy of bank reporting

   manages the Fund’s assets, as defined herein,
 
   compensate guaranteed deposits in the amounts, cases and according to the procedures established herein

    receives loans (borrowings), guarantees, grants, gifts, and donations,

   obtains necessary information for arranging conpensation as defined herein,  

   carries out activities aimed at raising public awareness of the deposit guarantee and compensation system,

   performs other functions as defined herein.
