Director of the Deposit Guarantee Fund Hermine Harutyunyan Delivers a Lecture at the Armenian State University of Economics

At the invitation of the Armenian State University of Economics (ASUE), the Director of the Deposit Guarantee Fund of Armenia (hereinafter, the Fund), Hermine Harutyunyan, delivered a lecture presenting the Fund’s activities, functions, and international experience in the field of deposit guarantee systems.

During the lecture, the Director addressed the role of the deposit guarantee system in ensuring financial stability, the mechanisms for protecting depositors’ rights, as well as the Fund’s core functions, including the management of financial assets. A number of the Fund’s key indicators were also compared with best international practices.

The lecture was conducted for fourth-year students of the Department of Finance at ASUE as part of the course “Economics for Financial Markets” and was held in a Q&A format, contributing to the enhancement of their professional awareness.

The questions raised by students once again highlighted the importance of cooperation between the academic community and financial sector institutions, aimed at knowledge exchange and the development of professional capacity.
